CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (0-1) lost to the 7th-ranked Limestone Saints (2-0), 262.155 to 235.985, in their season-opening meet in the Templeton Center on Sunday evening.
"I'm proud of this team and their resilience," said Presbyterian coach
Kara Christian. "They went out and gave their best effort and fought until the end. The team set the tone for the season and I am excited to build upon that for the rest of the season."
HOW IT HAPPENED
* The Blue Hose scored 34.95 in the Compulsory Event with a high of 9.45 in the Pyramid Heat.
* Presbyterian scored 21.70 in the Acro Event with a high of 8.75 in the 7-Element.
* In the Pyramid Event, the Blue Hose scored 27.25 with a high of 9.30 in the Inversion and Open Pyramid Heats.
* In the Toss Event, PC scored 23.10 with a high of 9.00 in the Open Heat.
* In the Tumbling Event, the Blue Hose tallied a score of 49.125 with a high of 9.375 in the Open Pass.
* Presbyterian posted a score of 79.86 in the Team Event.
