BROOKVILLE, N.Y.  – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (3-2) won the Compulsory, Acro, Toss, Tumbling, and Team Events in a 242.710-234.920 road win at the LIU Sharks (0-4) on Thursday evening.

"I'm very proud of the team!" Presbyterian coach Kara Christian said. "They showed up, they fought hard and they did their job and it paid off for them."
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Blue Hose scored 33.60 to LIU's 33.25 in the Compulsory Event. Presbyterian posted a score of 9.50 in the Pyramid heat.
• Presbyterian tallied a score of 24.50 while LIU posted a score of 23.80 in the Acro Event.
• In the Pyramid Event, the Blue Hose collected a score of 26.75 with a high of 9.20 in the Open Heat. LIU scored 27.05 in the Event.
• In the Toss Event, PC outscored LIU, 25.20-24.90.
• In the Tumbling Event, scored 48.35 to LIU's 47.65.
• Presbyterian posted a score of 84.31 topping LIU's score of 78.27 in the Team Event.

• In the Compulsory Event Pyramid Heat, the team of  Iveren Asom, Avery Michowski, Anna Ruiz, Kendra Henige, Caroline Holter, Camryn Philson, Victoria Smith, Sofia Cipriani, Robyn Beeman, Abby Katz, Maya Reyes, Jaleigh Richmond, and Kat Iacobelli posted a score of 9.50.
• The Open Pyramid team of Adyson Stancil, Ruiz, Katz, Richmond, Holter, and Iacobelli recorded a score of 9.20.
• In the Tumbling Event, Katz tallied a score of 9.375 in the Open Pass.
