The Presbyterian College Blue Hose Acrobatics & Tumbling team begins a stretch of three straight road meets in Bristol, Tennessee against the King University Tornado on Tuesday, March 5 at 6 p.m.

The Presbyterian Blue Hose won all six events in a 230.325 to 97.325 win over the Talladega College Tornadoes at the Templeton Center on February 25. The victory marked Coach
Kara Christian's first win as Presbyterian's head coach. The Open Pyramid team of

Anna Ruiz,
Abby Katz,
Jaleigh Richmond, and
Kat Iacobelli recorded a score of 9.30. In the Tumbling Event, Katz tallied a score of 9.40 in the Open Pass.
PRESBYTERIAN NOTABLES
- The Blue Hose welcomed back nine letterwinners from last year's roster. Joining those returners are 14 talented newcomers on Presbyterian's 2024 roster.
- Challenging Schedule – Presbyterian played Limestone (February 18) and Talladega (February 25) at home this season. Presbyterian will play Morgan State (March 22), and Bluefield State (March 30) in the Templeton Center later this season. After tomorrow's road meet at King (March 5), the Blue Hose have remaining road meets at Iona (March 10, Long Island University (March 14), and Saint Leo (April 11).
SCOUTING KING
- Presbyterian coach Kara Christian competed, coached, and graduated from King. Christian, who graduated from King in 2016, played an integral role in helping King qualify for the 2015 and 2016 NCATA Nationals. She was also an assistant for several years at King after graduation.
- The Tornado enter the meet with a 2-4 record with wins over Mars Hill and Francis Marion.
- King recorded a season-high score of 249.180 in the win over Mars Hill on February 25.
- King head coach Molly Hanley is in her second season at the helm of the Tornado program.
ACROBATICS & TUMBLING MEET
A meet consists of six events: Compulsory, Acro, Pyramid, Toss, Tumbling, and Team Event. Teams compete in a predetermined rotation order throughout each event. Events are immediately scored by officials.
