A LOOK AT THE BLUE HOSE
- The Blue Hose have tallied an 9-11 record throughout their spring season with wins over Queens, Lander, Belmont Abbey (x2), North Greenville, Tennessee State, Quinnipiac, Longwood, and Chattanooga.

Claudia Sanchez leads the team with a 13-5 singles record so far this season. Sanchez has won one match at the No. 1 position, seven at the No. 2 spot and five while competing at the No. 3 slot.
- Sanchez and
Valentina De Sousa lead the team in doubles with an 8-3 record after earning two wins at the No. 2 slot and six wins at the No. 3 position.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
- UNC Asheville heads into Monday's match with a 13-3 record with conference wins over Gardner-Webb, Longwood, Charleston Southern, and Radford.
- Freshman Alexis Nyborg leads the team with a 13-3 singles record while competing at the No. 3 position.
- Junior Alexis Nyborg and senior Alexis Nyborg team up at the No. 1 doubles slot and have tallied an 11-2 record.
- The Bulldogs are under the direction of head coach Lise Gregory.
PRESBYTERIAN – UNC ASHEVILLE SERIES
Monday will mark the 19
th time that these two teams will face off since Presbyterian joined Division I in 2008. The last time that these two teams met was last season where UNC Asheville took a 7-0 victory. The Blue Hose last beat the Bulldogs in the 2021 season with a score of 6-1. UNC Asheville leads the all-time series between the two teams 13-5.
BIG SOUTH CONFERENCE HONORS
The Blue Hose have tallied up an impressive list of Big South Weekly Honors this season with a total of five Player of the Week Awards.
Claudia Sanchez accomplished this award twice this season with the first time being on February 7 after she went 3-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles on the week. She earned the title a second time on March 20 after she went a perfect 2-0 in both singles and doubles matches the week before. The conference named
Lucianna Piedra Player of the Week on February 21 for her flawless 2-0 performance in singles and doubles that week.
McKenzie Davis stepped up to earn herself two Player of the Week Titles, first on February 28 when she went a perfect 3-0 in singles matches and 1-2 in doubles matches. She saw recognition again on April 3 after she won both her singles and doubles matches in PC's first ever victory over the Chattanooga Mocs.
