CLINTON, S.C. – The last home weekend of the 2024 calendar is positioned for tomorrow afternoon in the case of the Presbyterian College lacrosse team, welcoming Radford in the penultimate meeting at Bailey Memorial Stadium.
Closing the season with two of their final three Big South clashes at their home site, PC will take part in Senior Day before jousting with the Highlanders at 2:00 PM on ESPN+.
Lily Clawson,
Emma Foard,
Kylie Sullivan,
Abby Edmisten, and
Juliana San Lucas will all be presented in a special pregame ceremony approximately 10 minutes prior to opening draw.
Around the PC lacrosse program since 2021 (or 2020 in Edmisten and San Lucas' case), that quintet has embodied the attitude and perseverance of a Blue Hose, going head-to-head with a Radford foe whom they blasted last year 14-5 in Virginia.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Seeing a five-match winning streak against PC emphatically ended on April Fool's Day '23 with a nine-point drubbing, Radford has responded this semester with a 5-9 mark alongside two Big South triumphs.
- Unable to pick up a W in their first five attempts, the Highlanders turned things around by defeating Delaware State, Howard, and Fairleigh Dickinson in consecutive order. However, their momentum was slowed somewhat in the non-conference closer, falling in an instant classic to Akron in four overtimes.
- Both of the Highlanders' league victories have taken place on their own field, downing Winthrop by three last month while also assuming a 16-6 smacking over winless Gardner-Webb in their most recent showing on Wednesday.
- Samantha Hurley guides Radford into her third campaign as the squad's head coach, averaging a healthy 11 goals per game while already matching their win count from the previous season.
LAST TIME OUT
- Riding the shoulders of Sullivan's career-best effort to scoop their first Big South victory of the year, Presbyterian pounced on G-W last weekend and never looked back on their way to a 12-4 decision.
- The Scotsmen pitched a first-half shutout in a league game for the first time ever, denying the Runnin' Bulldogs a single score until the 35-minute mark while grabbing a lead that reached its apex at 11.
- Sullivan created lengthy distance between PC and Gardner-Webb seemingly by herself, going for six goals without a misfire (the first time since 2012 that a Presby player tallied at least six strikes on zero misses).
- Freshman
Emma Claire Mills was equally as impactful in Boiling Springs, corralling 10 draw controls which officially goes down as a single-game school record.
- By producing the bout's first goal less than two minutes in, preseason all-leaguer
Willow Hammond made it to the 100-point plateau while now at 27 for the year. The junior racked up 54 points last season, which tied Catherine Ellis (2012) for the most in a single season among all former Presby performers.
SENIOR DAY '24
- Clawson has appeared in seven bouts over the past two seasons donning the blue and garnet, poised to graduate early as a junior with a degree in Political Science and Pre-Law. Hailing from Buford, Georgia, she has already been accepted to Georgia State University for grad school in the fall. Lily will be escorted by her parents, Scott and Jamie Clawson, as well as her niece Blakeley.
- Foard made the transition to the role of student coach in 2023 and has exceled in that position, a native of Charlotte who will be accompanied on Saturday by her parents, John and Nalisha, alongside her sister Stella. Emma has helped coordinate practice operations and vital gameday information, a Political Science major with a double-minor in Business and Philosophy who plans to attend law school.
- Sullivan has been a constant in PC lacrosse since her arrival from the state of New Hampshire, never missing a single event beside 44 starts and 61 appearances. She has assembled 50 goals and 13 assists while fresh off her career-high against G-W, adding 75 ground balls and 83 draws to her individual resume. Kylie will be escorted by her parents, Sue and Sean, as well as her sister Shea. She is a student of Psychology with a minor in Biology.
- One of the greatest offensive players to ever lace up her boots at PC, Edmisten is the program's all-time leader in both total goals (146) and points (182). Holding a career shot-on-goal percentage of .750, Abby has scored at least 38 goals in three of her four full seasons in Clinton while notching at least five in a single match on eight occasions. A native of Milton, Georgia, Edmisten will be accompanied by her parents, Paul and Chanda, as well as her grandparents Ben and Fran Fowler.
- San Lucas, another fifth-year Blue Hose veteran, made the decision to return in 2024 after injuries disrupted her traditional senior season, playing in 48 games throughout her tenure next to 37 starting nods. Hailing from Wellington, Florida, Juliana will be escorted tomorrow by her parents, Anthony and Karolina, as well as her brother Kris. San Lucas is majoring in Special Education, and will be teaching at Clinton High School next semester once graduating from Presbyterian.
