CLINTON, S.C. – Freshman Jude Rutherford of the Presbyterian College Blue Hose men's cross country team has been selected as this week's Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week.
 
Rutherford, in just his fourth collegiate race at the Royals Cross Country Challenge on October 10, set the program's record in the 8K with a time of 26:08.46. The school record was 26:20 set in the 2017 season.
 
In his first collegiate race at the First Night Lights Opener on August 29, he broke a 10-year-old school record in the 6K with a time of 19:53.6; the previous school record was 20:13. Rutherford has led the Blue Hose in each of the first four races, including posting two Top 20 finishes this season.
 
Game One
In November 2022, the Presbyterian College athletic department partnered with Game One on a multi-year apparel agreement as an official team dealer for Adidas. The partnership extended the university's alliance with Adidas, which began in 2015 to outfit the Blue Hose athletic programs.
