PC COACH QUINTON FERRELL - Quinton Ferrell is in his seventh season as the head coach of his alma mater, Presbyterian College. Ferrell, a former Blue Hose team captain and a 2007 PC graduate, is one of 50 coaches in the NCAA Division I ranks who are coaching their alma mater.

PRESEASON ALL-BIG SOUTH – Senior forward Jonah Pierce was named Second Team Preseason All-Big South.
Last season, he played an integral role in helping the Blue Hose capture the Axe-Em Classic title. In last season's opener, he went 11-for-11 from the field while scoring a game-high 22 points at Charlotte, which put him over the 1,000 career points plateau. Last year, he suffered a season-ending injury after just eight games, resulting in a medical redshirt. In his career at PC, he has tallied 14 double-figure scoring games and three double-doubles.

Pierce is the sixth different Blue Hose player to garner preseason All-Big South recognition..

THE ROSTER - Presbyterian's preseason pick of sixth in the Big South is the highest preseason ranking for the Blue Hose since being picked fourth in the 2010-11 preseason coaches' poll.

The Blue Hose welcome back eight returners from a 2024-25 roster that earned a second straight postseason tournament berth. Joining Pierce as returning letterwinners are junior guard Carl Parrish, redshirt junior forward Jaylen Peterson, sophomore guards Iverson KingTriston Wilson, and Luke Allison on the Blue Hose roster. Redshirt freshman Chidi Chiakwelu and redshirt sophomore guard Khalon Hudson will see their first action as Blue Hose after redshirting last season. Joining the returners are talented newcomers, sophomore guards Erik Taylor and Josh Pickett, and freshmen guards Amare Anderson and JD Bowden, and forward Augustine Ayelyine.

Last season, Presbyterian won seven Big South Conference games, tying for the fourth most Big South wins in the program's history. Presbyterian's seven wins were the most league wins by the Blue Hose since winning seven Big South contests in the 2019-20 season. The Blue Hose earned the fifth seed in the Big South Tournament, which was the highest Big South Tournament seed in the program's history.
