ROCK HILL, S.C. – Three members of the Presbyterian Blue Hose women's tennis team will play in the Big South Individual Championships at the Rock Hill Tennis Center from Friday, October 24 to Sunday, October 26.

COMPETING FOR THE BLUE HOSE
McKenzie Davis and Roxy Valdes will compete in the singles main draw for the Blue Hose. Davis is the No. 9 seed and will open play on Friday in the round of 16 against the No. 8 seed Alizee Poulin from Gardner-Webb. Valdes will face off against the No. 4 seed Laura Wipfli of NJIT. In doubles, Davis will partner with Ladina Bruhin as the No. 3 seed They will take on the No. 6 seed Alexia Iancu and Camila Molin of Charleston Southern.
BIG SOUTH OPPONENTS
The singles draw is comprised of 16 individuals -- two each from Charleston Southern, Gardner-Webb, Longwood, NJIT, Presbyterian College and UNC Asheville, with the remaining four slots awarded to the next highest-ranked WTN players in the conference. The doubles draw features eight teams -- one from each Big South squad, with the final two slots determined by the next highest-ranked WTN teams in the league. The individual singles and doubles champion will receive automatic entry into the ITA Conference Masters Championships.
