SPARTANBURG, S.C. – One of six schools on hand at the Big Southern Shootout (three representing the Big South and three others repping the SoCon), the Presbyterian College women's tennis team completed the three-day tournament over the weekend.

PC had six separate singles matches and three doubles matches for each day, held at Wofford College. McKenzie Davis, Roxy Valdes, Ladina Bruhin, and Mary Ellen Longmire each won either on Friday or Saturday.

The overall Blue Hose record in singles competition was 4-14, while the doubles tandem of Longmire and Bruhin earned one doubles victory on Friday over Middle Tennessee. PC went 1-8 collectively in doubles play.

Following two regional tourneys in Asheville and Spartanburg, Presbyterian will head for Chapel Hill, North Carolina on October 16. There, they'll enter the ITA Regional Championships, a six-day event that concludes on the 21^st.
