CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College lacrosse team will get very comfortable at Bailey Memorial Stadium over the next two weeks, engaging in their longest homestand since the infant days of the program and welcoming Eastern Michigan to town tomorrow evening.
Opening draw between the Blue Hose and EMU is scheduled for 6:00 PM, the first of six consecutive home events for PC spanning 15 days. Tuesday will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools and Presby's second match all-time against an opponent from the state of Michigan.
Tomorrow's clash will begin PC's longest sequence of home-only matches since all the way back in 2007, part of a '25 campaign that entails 10 home games in total. Both sides will be searching for their first win of the young season, at 0-4 combined against stiff competition.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Eastern Michigan travels down to the coast for two matchups this week (also facing Gardner-Webb after their stay in Clinton is over), starting the year with competitive losses to San Diego State (15-10) and #11 Notre Dame by 10 goals.
- Four of the Eagles' seven wins last spring came against conference enemies, leading them to the number three seed in the MAC Tournament where they were eliminated in the semifinals by eventual champion Robert Morris.
- EMU made a change in leadership over the offseason, hiring Maddie Dugan as their newest head coach in August. She previously served as the head coach at Detroit Mercy for a sole season, going 6-12 with the Titans.
- Junior Mackenzie Blackwell paces Eastern Michigan with seven goals in only two outings, while sophomore keeper Maddie Porter has played all 120 minutes thus far with 29 saves to show for it.

- The Blue Hose were unsuccessful in back-to-back Ohio road matches late last week, dropping a 10-point decision to Kent State and a 12-point tally to Akron on Saturday.
