CLINTON, S.C. – Although
Mikah Conner,
Jackson Hugus (x2), and
Trey Fenderson all notched doubles, the Presbyterian College baseball team (4-5) fell to the Eastern Michigan Eagles (3-4) on Friday evening with a final score of 8-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- An error by the Eagles' second baseman allowed Conner to cross home plate in the first inning and give PC an early 1-0 lead.

Rhogue Wallace's sacrifice bunt in the bottom of the second brought Hugus in for a run, bumping Presby's advantage to 2-0.
- The top of the third inning saw EMU score a pair of runs, tying the score at two points apiece.
- The Eagles' Harrison Travis homered in the top of the third inning, giving EMU a 4-2 lead.
- The opponents took a run in the fifth inning before EMU's Logan Hugo hit one out of the park to add three to their tally.
- EMU was able to hold the Blue Hose scoreless for the last seven innings of the game, walking away with an 8-2 victory.
