COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Presbyterian College cross-country teams began their spring track season with 13 runners competing in the J.D. Evilsizer Invitational hosted by Columbus State.
Noah Kaufman set a school record in the 3000 meters. Several runners set PRs in the meet.
Notables
- Kaufman ran a 9:52.22 in the 3000 meters, which broke the school record by over 40 seconds.
- Jacob Smith ran his first 3000 meters and also beat the old school record with a 10:17.75. His time is now the second-fastest 3000 meters in the program's history.
- Kaufman PRed in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:26.
- David Harner ran an outstanding first 1500 meters of his college career with a time of 4:21.
- Isabel Whitman PRed in the 800 meters with a 2:30.14.
- Abby Donaldson PRed in the 800 meters with a time of 2:41.32.
- Gabe Butler ran his second-fastest 400 meters with a career-best time of 52.99.Â
