MORGANTON, S.C. – Battling through rainy conditions, the Presbyterian College women's golf team completed the first 36 holes of the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate, hosted by App State, on Monday evening. Play was briefly paused to allow the weather to clear before resuming.

The Blue Hose wrapped up the opening day in seventh place with a two-round total of 634 (+58), carding a first-round score of 313 (+25) followed by a 321 (+33) in the second round.

Tennessee Tech leads the tournament with a combined score of 610 (+34), while host the host school, App State, sits in fifth at 627 (+51).

Individually, Wofford's Bella Kent tops the leaderboard at 147 (+3) after two rounds.

BLUE HOSE RESULTS
- Maddie Peake leads the way for PC, sitting in a tie for ninth place with a two-round total of 153 (+9). She recorded a 76 (+4) in the first round and followed with a 77 (+5) in the second.
- Sofia Carles is in 17th place after posting rounds of 76 (+4) and 80 (+8), finishing the day at 156 (+12).
- Lextyn Petz sits in a tie for 22nd with a total score of 159 (+15), carding a 79 (+7) in round one and an 80 (+8) in round two.
- Sarah Boteler shot 82 (+10) and 83 (+11) for a combined 165 (+21), placing her in a tie for 37th.
- Taylor Raves holds 40th place with a two-round total of 166 (+22), improving from an 85 (+13) in the first round to an 81 (+9) in the second.
- Sloane Spessards rounds out the Blue Hose lineup, tying for 45th with a score of 168 (+24). She opened with a 79 (+7) before carding an 89 (+17) in round two.
