CHARLESTON, S.C. – A career-best effort from sophomore
Sloane Spessard led the Presbyterian College women's golf team during Tuesday's second round of the Tot Hill Farm Invitational, coming in 8
th-place individually to help PC finish in the middle of the pack.
The Blue Hose placed 6
th out of 13 schools with a two-round score of 614, as the planned third round of the tourney was canceled due to inclement weather.
College of Charleston (the hosting party) won the Invitational at 585. PC finished a single stroke better than Radford for 6
th place, also topping Elon, Eastern Kentucky, Western Carolina, Gardner-Webb, North Carolina A&T, and Queens.
Two more dates are left on Presby's fall schedule, taking a two-week break before returning to the course on October 13 at Wofford.

Columb Knight's crew improved on their 11
th-place finish at this exact tournament 12 months ago, ending on Tuesday with a solid all-around showing.
- Spessard saw a personal-best 73 in yesterday's opening round (one-over par), staying hot for the next 18 holes with two birdies and 12 pars to finish in 8
th. The Raleigh native came just two strokes shy of a spot in the individual top three.

Maddie Peake and
Taylor Reaves posted identical numbers over the two-round tourney, both shooting 154 to tie for 24
th.
- Peake birdied twice in the first seven holes during Round Two, while Reaves birdied three times on Tuesday to end two strokes better than the evening prior.
- Charleston was the site of true freshman
Addy Parker's Presbyterian debut, where she parred eight consecutive holes in Round Two. The Chesnee product finished at 158 overall, four strokes behind Reaves and Peake.

Emma Louise Hunt was the fifth entry for the Blue Hose at Tot Hill Farm, posting a score of 180.
