Blue Hose with Road Meet at Morgan State on Sunday Afternoon

The Presbyterian College Blue Hose Acrobatics & Tumbling team travels to Baltimore, Maryland, to play the Morgan State Bears on Sunday afternoon.

PRESBYTERIAN NOTABLES
  • Presbyterian coach Kara Christian is in her third season at the helm of the Blue Hose program.
  • The Blue Hose welcomed back an experienced team returning 17 letterwinners from the 2024 roster. Joining those 17 returners are eight talented newcomers on Presbyterian's 2025 roster.
  • Presbyterian set season-high scores in the Acro Event 6-Element Heat, Pyramid Event Synchronized Heat, and the Tumbling Event Trio Pass in their last meet at Saint Leo on March 2.  
  • Presbyterian set or tied several program record scores in the Compulsory Event Pyramid Heat and the Pyramid Event Open Heat in the Blue Hose's 244.055-241.885 road win at Mars Hill on February 25.
  • Presbyterian is currently 3-0 on the season after the win at Mars Hill to go along with season-opening home wins over Missouri State and Bluefield State in a tri-meet in the Templeton Center on February 9.
 
SCOUTING MORGAN STATE
  • The Bears are in their second year as a program. Presbyterian defeated Morgan State, 248.11-235.60, at home last season, March 22, 2024.
  • This season, Morgan State has already played No. 3 Quinnipiac, #5 Oregon, Kutztown, and No. 14 Long Island.
  • Morgan State tallied a season-high score of 256.095 on the road at Oregon.
 
ACROBATICS & TUMBLING MEET
A meet consists of six events: Compulsory, Acro, Pyramid, Toss, Tumbling, and Team Event. Teams compete in a predetermined rotation order throughout each event. Events are immediately scored by three judges.
