CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College baseball team (17-23, Big South: 9-8) fell to Charleston Southern (23-16, Big South: 9-8) by a score of 17-2 on Saturday evening at the PC Baseball Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Charleston Southern opened the scoring with one run in the top of the first inning.
- The Buccaneers added five runs in the second and one in the third to build an early 7-0 lead.
- PC got on the board in the bottom of the third when Jackson Hugus led off with a double down the left field line. Brody Linker followed with a single down the right field line to drive in Hugus. Later in the inning, Eli Lazio singled and Rhogue Wallace was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Trey Fenderson then grounded into a double play, but brought Linker across home plate.
- CSU extended its lead with four runs in the fifth, three in the seventh, and three more in the ninth to close out the 17-2 win.
