CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College baseball team (17-24, Big South: 9-9) dropped a hard-fought 6-4 decision in 11 innings to the Charleston Southern Buccaneers (24-16, Big South: 10-8) on Sunday evening at the PC Baseball Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Charleston Southern jumped out early with three runs in the top of the first inning.
- Presbyterian responded immediately, plating three runs in the bottom half to even the score. Rhogue Wallace singled to third base to start the rally, followed by a single to second base from Trey Fenderson. Amman Dewberry then launched a three-run homer over the right field wall to tie the game at 3-3.
- Strong pitching from both sides kept the game deadlocked until the eighth inning.
- The Buccaneers took a 4-3 lead with a sacrifice fly in the top of the frame, but the Blue Hose answered once again. Fenderson doubled down the left field line before Jake Randolph delivered a sacrifice fly to bring him home and knot the score at 4-4.
- After a scoreless ninth, the game moved into extra innings.
- Following a quiet 10th, the Buccaneers pushed across two runs in the top of the 11th.
- PC was unable to answer in the bottom of the inning, resulting in a 6-4 final score.

- Amman Dewberry's three-run homer in the first inning was his eighth home run of the season, tying him for the team lead.
- Rhogue Wallace went 3-for-5 at the plate, including a double in the third inning, his fifth of the year.
- Trey Fenderson recorded his 12th double of the season with his eighth-inning hit down the left field line.
- Kyle Mueller started at pitcher for PC where he tossed the first 4.0 innings of work while striking out four batters and holding opponents to three runs on five hits.
- Michael Marroquin Jr. pitched 2.0 innings in relief where he allowed no runs or hits.
- Robbie Boykin also threw 2.0 innings in relief where he held opposing batters to one run on one hit.
