CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College football team will be serving up a sneak preview of what's to come later this year as the annual Blue/White Spring Game looms nearer. Head coach
Steve Englehart and the rest of the PC staff will administer the intersquad scrimmage at 6:00 PM next Friday, April 11.
PC's roster will be split in half for the event – comprised of one "blue" team versus the opposing "white" – playing four 12-minute quarters at Bailey Memorial Stadium. Gates will open approximately one hour before festivities begin.
Concessions will be available for all attendees next Friday, able to lay eyes on Englehart's product as he approaches his fourth season in charge of the Blue Hose.
Presbyterian ended the 2024 season in sensational fashion, winning their last four encounters and closing the calendar with a home victory over 23
rd-ranked Butler 30-27.
Englehart engineered the program's first six-win season in a full decade as PC shattered a PFL-era record with six All-Conference First Team selections.
Incoming sophomore quarterback
Collin Hurst was named a top ten finalist for the Jerry Rice Award – given annually to the best freshman player at the FCS level – while he was also chosen as the Pioneer League Offensive Freshman of the Year and a Phil Steele Magazine Freshman All-American.
PC won their final four games of the season by an average of 18 points, capping off a fantastic turnaround by defeating their first nationally-ranked opponent since 2014.
A Blue Hose player was given a weekly award by the PFL in three consecutive weeks to finish out the fall, as Englehart led the program to their first undefeated record in the month of November since 2002.
