CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College baseball team (17-27, Big South: 9-12) fell in a Sunday doubleheader against the conference-leading High Point Panthers (33-14, Big South: 14-4), falling 8-5 in game one before dropping the finale 15-5 in seven innings at the PC Baseball Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED GAME ONE: High Point 8, Presbyterian 5
- High Point jumped ahead early with six runs in the second inning and another in the third to grab a 7-0 lead. The Blue Hose responded in the bottom of the third as Trey Fenderson drove in two runs with a double down the left field line.
- Presbyterian trimmed the deficit again in the fourth. Nick Smith singled and Jake Randolph walked before Jackson Hugus executed a sacrifice bunt. Andrew Albertus came off the bench with a pinch-hit two-run single to make it 7-4.
- After both teams traded runs in the fifth—Fenderson doubled again and later scored on a Smith sacrifice fly—PC's bullpen held High Point scoreless the rest of the way. Sean Hollister and Michael Marroquin Jr. combined for four shutout innings, but the Blue Hose couldn't complete the comeback.

NOTABLES – GAME ONE
- Trey Fenderson finished the first game with two doubles, bringing his season total to team-high 14.
- Nick Smith added a double in the bottom of the ninth as his fourth of the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED GAME TWO: High Point 15, Presbyterian 5 (7 Innings)
- The Panthers carried their offensive momentum into the series finale, scoring seven runs in the first and six in the second to build a 13-0 lead. Two more runs in the fourth gave the visitors a 15-run cushion.
- PC pushed across four runs in the fifth. Amman Dewberry singled to score Cam Mallo, and Nick Smith added a sacrifice fly to plate Aaron Hobson. With the bases loaded, a hit-by-pitch and a walk brought home two more runs. Ryan Becker added an RBI in the seventh, scoring Eli Lazio, but the Blue Hose were unable to avoid the run-rule loss.
