CLINTON, S.C. – Entering his seventh season as the Presbyterian College women's tennis head coach,
Joel Roberts revealed the fall schedule for the Blue Hose on Wednesday afternoon. PC gets things going on Saturday, the 13
th and will compete in five tournaments from now through November.
After breaking a three-year postseason drought to qualify for the Big South Spring Championships back in April, Presbyterian starts a clean slate this weekend when they head to UNC Asheville for the Emily McNall Classic.
The Blue Hose will have a brief break following that two-day event, going to Spartanburg for the Big Southern Shootout on October 3 (hosted by Wofford).
From October 16-21, the Scotsmen will be on site at the ITA Regional Championships in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. One week later, coach Roberts' crew will make the quick 60-minute drive to Rock Hill for the Big South Individual Fall Championships.
Presby's fall schedule wraps up on November 7 for a three-day tournament at Wofford, the same event where they claimed five singles and five doubles wins last year.
Winners of 15 matches over the past two campaigns, the Blue Hose return five players this season and also welcome five newcomers (three freshmen, two transfers).
