Five PC Football Players Named to CSC Academic All-District

CLINTON, S.C. – On Tuesday afternoon, College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced that five members of the Presbyterian College football team were chosen to the publication's Academic All-District squad.

Each passing steep criteria to make it on this list, PC was represented by linebacker Jason Briones, defensive backs Keith Elmore and Zeb Stroup, defensive lineman Dalton Epps, and FCS All-American tight end Nathan Levicki.

In order to qualify for CSC Academic All-District, one must hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 and cannot miss less than 90 percent of their team's games from the 2025 season. Additionally, freshmen are ineligible for nomination.

The Blue Hose enjoyed their most successful season of the Division I era last fall, winning 10 games for the third time in school history and rising to as high as #16 in the AFCA Coaches Poll (better than any PFL team in the past 16 years).

Eleven PC players were deemed All-Conference back in November – another school-record – and they are currently riding an eight-game home winning streak.

CSC Academic All-District honorees are now under consideration for Academic All-America. Those recipients will be announced on January 27.

FB CSC 2026

JASON BRIONES | Gr. | Linebacker | Morgan Hill, Calif.
CSC Academic All-District (2x)
3.71 | Psychology

- Briones battled through injuries that halted his prior two seasons to land 22 tackles in 2025. He'd find a season-high five stops in the home opener against Erskine.

- The west coast native collected his first turnover during a mammoth comeback win at Furman in Week 2, logging a third-quarter interception as PC went on to grab the W in overtime.

- With Briones navigating the middle linebacker spot, Presbyterian led the nation in fewest first downs allowed. PC gave up just 272 total yards of offense per game, second in the country only to North Dakota State.

KEITH ELMORE | Jr. | Defensive Back | Summerville, S.C.
CSC Academic All-District (2x)
3.92 | Physics

- One of PC's highest GPA's, Elmore managed 16 tackles across his third season with the program. He brought down four ball-carriers during a 41-0 shutout over Morehead State in the PFL opener.

- The in-state product would get a crucial tackle-for-loss in the first game of the season, a road victory over then-#11 Mercer. It was the first win by a Pioneer Football League institution over a non-conference top 25 opponent in seven years.

- Elmore was part of a Blue Hose secondary that tormented quarterbacks on a weekly basis. Opposing QB's combined for a pass efficiency rating of 106, which was the fourth-lowest number in FCS.

DALTON EPPS | R-Jr. | Defensive Line | Myrtle Beach, S.C.
CSC Academic All-District
3.51 | Business Administration

- Epps recorded his greatest season in year four, tied for second on the roster with four sacks. He forced two fumbles in league action against Valparaiso and St. Thomas, recovering another loose ball versus Bluefield.

- Mercer's second-to-last drive ended with an Epps sack, helping Presby end the PFL's 35-game losing streak versus non-conference ranked opponents. He'd go for a season-high six tackles in a six-point win at Butler, assisting PC's 7-0 start.

- The Blue Hose defense surrendered just 16 points per game, the third-lowest of any FCS program. With Epps' aid, Presbyterian gathered the 12th-most turnovers in the nation.

NATHAN LEVICKI | Sr. | Tight End | Annapolis, Md.
CSC Academic All-District
PFL Academic First-Team
All-PFL First Team
2nd-Team All-America (FCS Football Central & Stats Perform)
3.75 | Political Science

- Levicki became the first PC player since 2020 to be voted All-America following a scorching season where he logged 34 catches for 471 yards and nine total touchdowns.

- He made at least one reception in every game, responsible for the team's longest passing play of the season during the aforementioned Butler win (a 75-yard TD in the 4th quarter).

- A monster weapon on an offense that eclipsed 5,000 yards, Levicki had a career day in the Furman upset by catching the game-winning touchdown and two-point conversion in OT.

ZEB STROUP | Sr. | Defensive Back | Mount Airy, N.C.
CSC Academic All-District (2x)
PFL Academic Second-Team
3.68 | Business Administration

- Stroup similarly ended his PC career with his most effective season, ranking fifth on the team's elite defense with 45 total tackles. His four pass breakups and three interceptions were both second on the club.

- Two of those picks came against Pioneer League foes (Dayton and St. Thomas), and he also registered a season-high nine stops in the Furman triumph.

- With Stroup starting all but one game at safety, the Blue Hose allowed opponents to convert just 30 percent of third-down opportunities. Only North Dakota posted a lower average in that department.
