CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College lacrosse program will make their first appearance at Bailey Memorial Stadium of this semester on Sunday afternoon, starting a three-game homestand against the Le Moyne Dolphins at 1:00 PM.
Game number two for the Blue Hose but the season-opener for Le Moyne, this weekend's clash will be the inaugural game between the two schools. The Dolphins will be kicking off their third season as a D-I member.
Head coach
Eric Clakeley's squad played a spirited match at a very talented Coastal Carolina team last week, ultimately taking a 15-8 setback.
PC's first four home events will be against teams from a different state. This will be the first time that a university from New York will make the trip to Clinton since March of 2018 (Long Island).

SCOUTING LE MOYNE
- A regular title contender from their Division II days (including a National Championship in 2018), Le Moyne had a rough go last spring with just four wins in 17 attempts.
- A Northeast Conference representative, the Dolphins had one road victory in 2025 (by 10 points over Delaware State) and were picked to finish fifth out of 10 teams in the preseason NEC Coaches Poll.
- Head coach Liz Beville and Clakeley started in their respective roles at the same time, going into her seventh season as Le Moyne's director. Presbyterian will be the first Big South school that the Dolphins have gone up against in their brief D-I history.
LAST TIME OUT
- Taking a seven-point defeat to Coastal Carolina in the 2026 curtain-jerker, PC was able to take away several strong individual showings that should prove helpful as the campaign rolls along.
- For starters, senior defenseman
Avery West proved why she was selected to the preseason All-Conference roster for the second year in a row, collecting four ground balls and also causing three Chanticleer turnovers.
-
Emily Currie,
Alyssa Perez, and
Kate Dominick added up for six of Presby's eight goals, trailing by just three points at the break against a foe that was one game away from making it to the NCAA Tournament last year.
- The Blue Hose hung with Coastal in numerous offensive categories (28-23 in total shots and 16-13 in shots-on-goal). PC won the turnover battle by seven and secured 19 ground balls as a unit.
