CLINTON, S.C. - The Presbyterian College baseball team (2-4) dropped a home matchup to NJIT 14-2 on Friday evening (Feb. 20) at the PC Baseball Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Highlanders took control of the game from the jump, scoring two runs right away in the top of the first inning.
- In the third, NJIT tacked on another on a single to grab a 3-0 advantage through three innings.
- The Highlanders continued to add to their lead, homering to left center in the fourth. NJIT added two more in the fifth to go up 6-0 on Presbyterian.
- Amman Dewberry got the Blue Hose on the board in the bottom half of the inning, plating two runs on a single to cut into the NJIT lead.
- However, NJIT dominated the rest of the evening, holding PC scoreless the rest of the way. The Highlanders finished the night with a 14-2 victory in Clinton.
NOTABLES
- Amman Dewberry recorded two hits for the Blue Hose, going 2-for-3 at the plate. He has 11 hits this season and has had four multi-hit games already in 2026.
- Five other Blue Hose players logged a hit: Bo Moody, Jonathan Williams, Matthew Rollison, Cam Mallo, and Brody Linker.
- Seven different pitchers appeared in the game for PC. Eli Bowery threw a scoreless seventh inning, striking out one. Tyrell Williams got the starting nod on the bump for Presbyterian.
