HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both starting pitchers were dominant to start the game, keeping the game scoreless after five innings.

- High Point got into scoring position in the bottom of the fourth following a one-out triple. The Blue Hose stranded the runner with a double play, as James Green caught a fly ball before throwing a frozen rope to home plate to nab the runner trying to tag up.

- The Panthers took the lead in the bottom of the sixth inning, scoring the game's first run of the night on a single. The Panthers threatened for more, but Amman Dewberry hosed down another runner trying to score at the plate to keep the deficit to just one.

- Bo Moody led off the seventh inning with a double down the left field line and later came around to score on a Caden Mason RBI groundout, tying the game at one apiece.

- The Presbyterian offense exploded in the eighth to take its first lead of the night. The Panthers got two quick outs before the Blue Hose embarked on a two-out rally.

- Green singled home Cam Mallo to give PC the lead. Dewberry followed right after with an RBI single of his own. Mason stepped up to the plate next and delivered a clutch double, plating two more runs to open up the game and give PC a 5-1 lead.

- However, High Point answered right back in the bottom half of the eighth. The Panthers used a two-run home run to go along with three other hits to knot the game back up at five.

- The game would go into extras, and the Panthers ended up prevailing in the tenth. Three straight singles proved to be enough, giving High Point the 6-5 win.
