Lacrosse Finishes Three-Game Road Swing with Matinee at FDU

TEANECK, N.J. – The spring break road trip rolls on for the Presbyterian College lacrosse team after obtaining their second win of 2026 in convincing fashion, prepping for an 11:00 AM start at FDU on Tuesday.

PC took care of business against Delaware State three days back, dissecting the Hornets by an 18-10 count as they now search for two victories in a row.

FDU (Fairleigh Dickinson) is still a young program in its fourth season of existence. The Blue Hose will return the favor after the Knights visited Bailey Memorial Stadium last year and took a 15-5 drubbing to Presbyterian.

Head coach Eric Clakeley's unit was efficient in virtually all categories in the DSU runaway, led by a career-high six strikes from senior attacker Alyssa Perez.

SCOUTING THE KNIGHTS

- Announcing the addition of women's lacrosse in 2021, FDU is steadily rising up the ranks under head coach Jessica Pandolf. The Knights need just two more wins to already match last season's total.

- It was a rocky beginning to the '26 campaign for FDU against quality opponents, dropping three in a row to Rider, San Diego State, and Oregon. However, three of the last four have tilted in their favor which includes an 11-6 triumph over Austin Peay on Saturday.

- FDU also edged Iona and outgunned Manhattan 16-10, going 2-1 on their home turf thus far. Their lone loss with home-field advantage came to Siena back in February.

- Two Knights outscored Austin Peay all by themselves over the weekend, as Brielle McInaw and Nora Codianni totaled seven makes. FDU survived a 15-4 disadvantage in draw controls, while backup goalie Skylar Goodman earned the win on four stoppages.

LAST TIME OUT

- Tuesday will be Presby's third match of the semester versus a school from the Northeast Conference, and they're 2-0 against that league so far after dispatching New Haven and Delaware State both by eight points.

- PC's offensive numbers were certainly imposing, as they stacked up 36 total shots (32 of them on-goal) while also winning 21 of 29 draws.

- Nine different Blue Hose players saw at least one score while the lead grew to as large as 10. Presbyterian is now 9-0 all-time against Delaware State, with four of those results happening under the Clakeley administration.

- When the Scotsmen defeated FDU in Clinton exactly 365 days ago, then-freshman Emily Currie put up a quartet of goals plus an assist while PC shut out the Knights in the 2nd and 4th quarters.
