CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Presbyterian Blue Hose senior men's tennis player David Mamalat was named Big South Conference Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. Mamalat is the 16th player in the program's history to earn Big South Player of the Week honors. In 2023, Mamalat was a three-time Big South Freshman of the Week honoree.

PERFORMANCE LAST WEEK
Mamalat recorded a straight-sets (6-4, 6-4) win at number one singles on Presbyterian's Senior Day, a 6-1 win over UNC Asheville this past Saturday. He also teamed with Matija Samardzic for a 6-2 win at number one doubles, helping the Blue Hose capture the doubles point. 

PLAY THIS SEASON
The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native has teamed with Samardzic to record 14 doubles wins this season. Mamalat has collected ten singles wins, with seven of those wins coming on court one.
