FRIPP ISLAND, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose surged into first place after two rounds at the Big South Championship at the Ocean Island Golf Club in Fripp Island, South Carolina, on Monday afternoon.
Presbyterian shot a second round 284 (E). The Blue Hose are the only team under par after two rounds with a score of 566 (-2). High Point is in second place with a two-round score of  571 (+3).
Sophomore
Jeep Patrick is currently tied for third place with a two-round score of 139 (-3) to pace the Blue Hose. Patrick is two strokes back from the leaders heading into Wednesday's final round of stroke play after shooting a second round of 69.
NOTABLES
- Patrick had five birdies and 11 pars on his round of 69.
- Junior Spence Hagood and freshman James Rhodes are tied for sixth place with two-round scores of  141 (-1). Hagood began his second round with an eagle on the 510-yard par 5 first hole. On his round of 71 (E), he had one eagle, two birdies, and 11 pars. Rhodes shot a second round of 72 (+1) with three birdies and 11 pars on the round.
- Sophomore Richard Anaclerio is tied for 24th place after two rounds with a score of 147 (+5). On his second round of 74 (+3), he had three birdies and 11 pars, including a bogey-free final 10 holes.
- Sophomore Gage Gaskins recorded a second round score of 72 (+1) with five birdies and eight pars on his round. Gaskins is tied for 35th place with a two-round score of 150 (+8).
