Biography

2024: Featured in six games as a junior, starting in a 28-7 victory over Dayton at home and playing each time across a season-ending four-game winning streak (PC's longest such streak since 2007)...Was part of a Blue Hose offense that improved on their statistics from the previous year, amassing 1,800 rushing yards and nearly 3,000 passing yards...Presbyterian averaged 479 total yards per game during the aforementioned winning streak, punctuating the season by beating #23 Butler at Bailey Memorial Stadium (the school's first win against a nationally-ranked foe in a full decade).

2023: Made a significant transition from defensive line to center approaching his sophomore stint, becoming one of four PC players in the trenches to start all 11 contests...Made the switch to offense smoothly, part of a group that mustered over 3,600 total yards (1,345 rushing and 2,280 passing)...The Blue Hose carried the ball for at least 100 yards in seven meetings with Rentz snapping, not to mention two 200-yard rushing efforts and another pair of 300+ showcases through the air...Featured in every bout as PC hit an average of 329 total yards per affair.

2022: Appeared in 10 matchups throughout his freshman campaign, balancing time between defensive and offensive line duties...Recorded two tackles (one of which forced a fumble against St. Thomas) before moving to the opposite side of the trenches over the final three outings of the season...Helped the Blue Hose scatter 905 total yards (150 rushing, 755 passing) in his brief time on the o-line, the highlight of which came in the home finale vs. Dayton (11/5) with a season-best 364-yard passing performance at Bailey Memorial.

PRIOR TO PC: Totaled 40 tackles, three sacks, one interception and a pair of forced fumbles and recovered fumbles during his senior year at Chesnee High School.. totaled 60 knockdown blocks... named Team MVP... All-Region Selection... member of the Beta Club... member of the wrestling and soccer programs at Chesnee... he chose to come to Presbyterian cause of the family environment... intends to major in history or social studies education...
