2025: Quickly became the team's starting punter after game one, the busiest leg on a record-setting roster that won 10 games for the third time ever...Delivered 26 punts for 1,009 total yards, downing 10 of those kicks inside the 20-yard line with two of them traveling exactly 50 yards...Averaged nearly 39 yards per punt, good enough to rank eighth in the PC single-season record book...In the first three Pioneer League meetings, he punted 10 times for an average of 43 yards...Saw his highest single-game average on Homecoming, a 42-7 beatdown over Stetson where he notched 137 yards on just three attempts...The Scotsmen ultimately started the campaign 7-0, reaching as high as #16 in the AFCA Coaches Poll...Handled kickoff duties in the non-conference finale, a 76-3 laugher against Bluefield where he booted the ball 11 times for 641 yards.

Prior to PC: An All-Region special teamer for the Bluffton High Bobcats roughly three hours away from PC's campus, Cartmel connected on a career-long 45-yard field goal as a senior while averaging 44 yards per punt...His longest kick sailed 65 yards, participating in BHS golf as well.
