CLINTON, S.C. - (Feb. 23) The Newberry Indians, wielding their basketball tomahawks in savage fashion, scalped the Presbyterian College Blue Stockings on the local court tonight. The score was 48 to 29. Eleazer and Kinard each scoring 17 points led a deadly assault upon the baskets with field goals. Bill Adair was the best of the Blue Stockings.
