CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College football coach Harold Nichols announced the signing of 20 student-athletes for the 2015 season. The class features six players each from South Carolina, Florida and Georgia with one apiece from North Carolina and Alabama.

“Today is the culmination of a year's work,” said Nichols. “Our coaching staff and our players did an outstanding job during the recruiting process representing our program. We made some outstanding additions to our football team today. We are very excited for the future of our program and these young men are going to be a big part of that.”

Manny Banks (WR, 5-11, 180, Irmo (S.C.) HS)

Earned three letters in football and one in basketball at Irmo High School … Earned All-Region honors as a junior and senior … Amassed four touchdowns, 802 yards and 54 catches as a senior captain after a junior season that saw him total three touchdowns, 684 yards and 38 catches … Earned Irmo Yellow Jacket Club academic honors … Son of Avon and Valorie Banks … Chose PC for its proximity to home and the small college, family atmosphere … Cites his parents as his biggest athletic influences.

Brandt Cameron (LS, 6-3, 200, North Gwinnett (Ga.) HS)

Four-year letterwinner as a longsnapper and receiver … Started two games as varsity longsnapper his sophomore year … Full-time longsnapper as a junior, helping the team to a 13-2 record and state runner-up in 6-A … Saw significant time at tight end and wide receiver … Son of Andy and Leslie Cameron … Active in North Gwinnett Young Life … Interned with the Atlanta Falcons Physical Therapy.

Kenneth Coleman (DB, 6-0, 170, Providence (Fla.) HS)

Played cornerback for Providence (Fla.) High School in Jacksonville … Earned 2014 Third Team honors as well as All-First Coast and Second Team 3A All-State laurels … Registered five interceptions and two forced fumbles … Also lettered as a varsity forward and center back for the soccer team … Chose PC because it was the best opportunity to succeed on the field and in the classroom … Cites his father Marco, a former NFL Pro Bowl defensive lineman, as his biggest athletic influence… Son of Marco and Katrina Coleman.

Clay David (OL, 6-5, 250, John T. Hoggard (N.C.) HS)

Turned in a stellar career as an offensive lineman at John T. Hoggard H.S. in Wilmington … Lettered in football with pins for being a 2nd and 3rd year starter … Played in the North Carolina playoffs during his sophomore, junior, and senior years … His team was the Mideastern Conference Champions during his junior and senior seasons … His squad was undefeated his senior year and he was a member of the offensive line that blocked for 3328 rushing yards and averaged 32 points per game that year … Was also a talented thrower on the track and field team … Was a member of National Honor Society, Beta Club, German Club, and earned Academic Letters and pins for maintaining a 4.0 average each year for four years … Volunteered with Pop Warner Challenger Football League and with Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue Hospital during the summer … Credits his coaches, his grandmother, and late grandfather has his biggest athletic influences and inspirations … Enjoys reading and hunting … Son of Phillip and Ann David … Brother, Jackson David, threw javelin at East Carolina.

DaShawn Davis (WR, 5-9, 160, Chapman (S.C.) HS)

Earned All-State honors as a wide receiver at Chapman High School ... Invited to the North-South All-Star Game ... Caught 83 passes as a senior for 1,247 yards and 13 touchdowns ... Set school records with 218 catches and 3,573 receiving yards for his career, as well as hauling in 35 career touchdowns ... An honor roll student who boasted a nearly 4.00 GPA ... Zola Davis (TE/WR, 6-2, 205, Wando (S.C.) HS)

Starred at Wando High School as a tight end/slot receiver … Caught 14 passes for 118 yards as a senior while registering 61 tackles, four sacks and seven tackles for a loss as a linebacker … Helped team to the first round of the playoffs … Earned the team's “Iron Warrior” and “Speed Demon” awards for being the best athlete over the summer workout periods … Also compiled a 31-4 record and finished second in the region as a 195-pound wrestler and ran track for three years … Boasted a 3.4 grade point average in honors courses and served on the student wellness committee … Chose PC for its high academic reputation … Son of Zola Davis and Felicia Wright … Father Zola played for the Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns and the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Ryan Green (OL, 6-4, 265, James Island (S.C.) HS)

Started three years at James Island High School ... Earned All-Region honors as well as the James Island Athlete of the Month and Offensive Line awards ... Participated in three years of wrestling and two years of track ... Son of Sylvia and Ralph Green ... Father Ralph played football at South Carolina State ... Boasts a 3.3 GPA ... Enjoys chess and piano.

Tobias Hagins (OL, 6-3, 285, Baxley, Ga.)

Played as an offensive lineman at Appling County (Ga.) High School in Baxley … As a senior, his team made it to the second round of the region playoffs and he was named to the GACA Preseason All-State team, AJC All-State team selection, and chosen to play in the North/South All-Star Game … Named to the All-Region IAAA team during his sophomore and junior years … A GACA All-State Honorable Mention selection as a junior … Also played basketball for four years where his team made it to the state playoffs as a freshman and the second round of the region playoffs as a sophomore … A member of Spanish Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the SOAR and Student on Roll programs …Was a mentor for Altamaha Junior Boy and Girls Club where he served on the board of directors … Credits his aunt for pushing him to pursue football and his offensive line coach, Jim Avera, as his biggest athletic influence … Son of Tanya L. Cal King (QB, 6-3, 205, Westside (S.C.) HS)

Starred as the captain quarterback for Westside High School in Anderson as a senior, leading the team to an 8-4 record and a trip to the state playoffs … Played his junior season at Mary Persons High in Forsyth, Ga… Holds all passing records at Mary Persons, earning a trip to the Elite Junior Classic All-Star Game in 2014 and leading the team to the second round of the state playoffs … Finished his high school career with 5,185 passing yards, 41 total passing touchdowns, two receiving touchdowns and seven rushing touchdowns … Played two seasons at Thomasville (Ga.)
