LEXINGTON, Va. – Presbyterian College fell 1-0 to VMI in the 98th minute Friday night at Patchin Field in the VMI Tournament.
The Blue Hose women's soccer team fell to 3-4-0 on the season while the Keydets went to 3-5-0 on the year.
VMI's Olivia Cotton ended the match at the 97:12 mark in the first overtime on her first goal of the season. Blake Cashin and Sydnie Bligh provided the assists.
The Keydets owned a 10-8 shots advantage while the Blue Hose were able to put more on frame, 5-4. Kristen Peagler (Lithonia, Ga.) led PC with three shots and put to on goal.
Sydney Fontenot (Austin, Texas) collected three games in the match.
Presbyterian finishes the VMI Tournament 11 a.m. Sunday against Hampton.
