Blue Hose Look to Win Home Opener on Sunday Night

PC Falls at Liberty

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Presbyterian College women's soccer team dropped their road game at Liberty 7-1 on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened

Liberty opened the scoring in the second minute of the first half, and would eventually jump out to a 5-0 lead. Kelsey Yeager put PC on the board in the 70th minute when Frances Whitesides put a free kick at the feet of Yeager who tapped it in. Liberty would go on to score again in the 76th and 86th minutes to take the match 7-1.

Record

PC falls to 2-9-0 overall and 0-3-0 in the Big South, while Liberty improves to 6-6-0 overall and 2-1-0 in conference play.

Up Next

The Blue Hose will return home to play UNC Asheville on Wednesday Oct. 5 at 7:00 p.m.
