Boteler Shoots Collegiate-Best at Golfweek Fall Challenge

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's golf team led by sophomore Sarah Boteler posted a final round score of 306 on Tuesday at the Golfweek Fall Challenge. Boteler recorded a two-under 69 in the final round on Tuesday afternoon.

Campbell won the team title for the event with a total score of -18 (834) for the tournament. Austin Peay's Erica Scutt secured the individual title with a 204 (-9) for the championship.

Notables

Boteler led the Blue Hose for the final round with her two-under 69 highlighted by five birdies. She opened with a pair of birdies early on the 10th and 12th holes before adding one on the 16th. The sophomore added birdies on the 1st and 9th to close out with a 69.
Boteler's 69 is the fourth round in the program DI history to post a sub-70 score and the first time since 2019 when Serina Combs posted a 69 at the Pinehurst Challenge.
She also is the first Blue Hose to record a sub-70 round in the final round of a tournament in program history.
Freshman Mariana Polakova improved for the second straight day with a final round 74. She tallied three birdies on her inward nine to post the three-over round.
Freshman Taylor Reaves posted a final round 78 on Tuesday as she totaled 13 pars in the round.
Sofia Carles tallied a birdie on the 14th hole en route to a final round 85.
Lextyn Petz added a birdie in her final round posting a 94.
