CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Presbyterian College women's golf team will play its second tournament of the week on Saturday (April 4), participating in the 36-hole Carolina Challenge Cup at UNC Finley GC hosted by North Carolina.
Maddie Peake, Sloane Spessard, Taylor Reaves, Addy Parker, and Gabi Carles will compete for the Blue Hose in Chapel Hill.

LAST TIME OUT
- The Blue Hose teed it up in the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday, finishing in 11th place.
- Maddie Peake was PC's highest finisher, coming in a tie for 32nd. She moved up 13 spots with her final round 76 on Tuesday. For the tournament, she led the team in birdies with five. She birdied the par-3 13th hole in all three of her rounds.
- Taylor Reaves turned in a total score of 249 to finish in 50th place for the week. She saved her best round for last, carding two birdies en route to a final round 80 on Tuesday to move up the leaderboard.
- Addy Parker ended the tournament one shot behind Reaves to finish T51 with a score of 250. She fired an opening round 79, tying her second lowest round of her freshman season.
- Gabi Carles made her spring debut in Morganton, competing in her first tournament since the Fripp Island Intercollegiate (held Nov. 1-3). She turned in the lowest round of her collegiate career in the second round on Monday afternoon, carding an 80. She concluded the tournament in a tie for 55th with a score of 253.
BLUE HOSE ROSTER
This is the first full season as the head coach of the women's golf program for Columb Knight. Knight, a 2024 graduate of PC, achieved numerous milestones as a player, including ranking seventh in PC's Division I era with a career stroke average of 74.93. His 2025-26 squad includes four returners, including Maddie Peake, Sloane Spessard, Taylor Reaves, and Emma Louise Hunt. Gabi Carles and Addy Parker highlight the freshman class for Coach Knight.
