MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's golf team wrapped play at the Rivertowne Intercollegiate, hosted by Charleston Southern at RiverTowne CC on Tuesday (Feb. 17). Taylor Reaves shot a 71 in her third round to finish in 11th place individually. The Blue Hose came in fifth out of six teams in the tournament, finishing with a score of 965
Maddie Peake also finished in the top 20 individually for PC, ending play in a tie for 18th with a total score of 238.
NOTABLES
- Taylor Reaves delivered the best round of her career in the third round, carding a career-best 71 (-1). She made an eagle on the par-5 11th hole and carded a birdie on the third hole. She improved her score by six shots every round, vaulting up the leaderboard to finish in 11th place. Her final round 71 was the lowest round on Tuesday and the second lowest round of the tournament by any player in the field.
- Maddie Peake also had a strong showing in Mount Pleasant, finishing in a tie for 18th with rounds of 79, 80, and 79. She made four birdies in the tournament.
- Sloane Spessard ended the tournament in 26th place. She shot 82 each round and made three total birdies. On the back nine of round three, she shot a one-over par 37.
- Addy Parker and Emma Louise Hunt rounded out the Blue Hose in Mount Pleasant. Parker made two birdies, finishing in 28th place with a score of 250. Hunt also carded two birdies in the tournament, coming in 32nd place after three rounds of play.
