FRIPP ISLAND, S.C. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose women's golf team finished their second round of the Big South Women's Golf Tournament on Monday afternoon.

After scoring 312 (+24) in the first-round at the Ocean Creek Golf Course, Presbyterian recorded a second-round score of 309 (+21) jumping them up two spots in the rankings to tie for fifth place with a two-round score of 621 (+45).

Charleston Southern held their first-place finish after hitting for a second-round score of 301 (+13) giving them a two-round score of 597 (+21).

USC Upstate's Praew Nontarux and Charleston Southern's Odette Garcia lead the individual leaderboards with their two-round scores of 147 (+3).

Maddie Peake hit for birdie three times and for par 11 times for a second-round score of 75 (+3). She finished tied for ninth place with a two-round score of 151 (+7).

Lextyn Petz hit for birdie twice and for par nine time in the second round to finish the day with a score of 79 (+7). Her two-round score of 153 (+9) landed her tied for ninth place overall.

Sarah Boteler jumped up 16 places in the individual rankings to place tied for 21
st after hitting for a second-round score of 73 (+1) with five holes for birdie and seven for par, finishing with a two-round score of 155 (+11).

Taylor Reaves hit for par nine times for a second-round score of 82 (+10). She is currently in 36
th place after recording a two-round score of 162 (+18).

Sofia Carles rounded out the Blue Hose with a two-round score of 179.
UP NEXT
The Blue Hose will play the final round of the tournament tomorrow beginning at 8:00 a.m. to see which teams will place top four and qualify for further competition.
