The Presbyterian Blue Hose (3-5) play the Emmanuel Lions (3-3) and the Converse Valkyries (1-3) at the Templeton Tennis Courts this weekend. Presbyterian begins the weekend against Emmanuel on Saturday, February 22 at 10 a.m. Then, Presbyterian finishes the weekend with a home match against Converse on Sunday, February 23 at noon.

BIG SOUTH PRESEASON POLL
Presbyterian was picked to finish second in the preseason Big South coaches poll. Gardner-Webb, who won the Big South regular-season title last season, was picked first. After the Blue Hose in the poll was UNC Asheville, the defending Big South tournament champions, who were picked third. Longwood and Radford round out the poll in fourth and fifth place respectively.

In Presbyterian's men's tennis program's history, the Blue Hose have captured three Big South regular-season titles (2014, 2017, and 2023) and three Big South Tournament titles (2017, 2021, and 2023).

Presbyterian has won the three previous meetings including a 4-3 win at the Templeton Tennis Courts on March 11, 2023.
Denim Yadav and Cardoso collected singles wins in that match. The Lions enter Saturday's match on a three-match losing streak after beginning the season with three wins. Aleksander Simovski leads the team with five singles wins. The doubles tandem of Simovski and Matheus Pimenta has three wins.

CONVERSE
Sunday's match will be the first-ever meeting between Presbyterian and Converse. The Valkyries enter the match on a three-match losing streak after beginning the season with a 6-1 win over Newberry. Leopold Morel leads the team with two singles wins. The doubles duo of Marty Letessier and Morel have recorded a team-leading two wins.
