FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – Another remarkable regular season is firmly in the books for the sixth-ranked Presbyterian College women's wrestling team, meaning the focus has now shifted to the NCWWC Southeast Regional bracket this Saturday afternoon.
Multiple Blue Hose wrestlers will have their shot at advancing to Nationals this weekend, with the action starting at 10:00 AM from Emmanuel University. The Southeast Region is one of eight groups around the country who will be qualifying for Nationals.
Head coach
Brian Vutianitis has guided the Blue Hose through a campaign where they remained inside the NWCA top ten since the beginning, going 14-4 in dual matches and claiming 25 individual titles in a tournament setting.
Six different PC grapplers have already surpassed 20 personal victories, with eight of Vutianitis' wrestlers being ranked inside the top ten of their respective weight class. This bodes well for Presby, who aims to finish in the countrywide top ten at Nationals for the third straight time.
