MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's golf team opened play at the Rivertowne Intercollegiate, hosted by Charleston Southern at RiverTowne CC. Maddie Peake leads the Blue Hose on the leaderboard individually, ending the day in a tie for 15th. As a team, Presbyterian sits in sixth place, shooting a total score of 650.
Taylor Reaves finished day one just a shot back of Peake, sitting in a tie for 18th with a score of +16.
NOTABLES
- Maddie Peake led the way for the Blue Hose to begin the tournament, recording three birdies and 18 pars total to finish with a score of +15. She posted her lowest nine holes on the back nine of her opening round, shooting 39.
- Taylor Reaves shot the low round of the day for Presbyterian in her second round, shooting a 77. She made two birdies in the afternoon, going out in 39 before coming back in with 38 to close out the day. She sits in a tie for 18th.
- Sloane Spessard rounds out the Blue Hose in the top 30 individually. She shot two rounds of 82 to be in a tie for 26th in the tournament. She carded two birdies in her first 36 holes in Mount Pleasant.
- Addy Parker and Emma Louise Parker also competed in the Presbyterian lineup. Parker ended day one in 30th place, while Hunt is currently in 32nd.
