CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference announced the league's Presidential Honor Roll on Wednesday afternoon. The Blue Hose had 288 student-athletes recognized for their hard work in the classroom by being named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll.

To be selected for the Big South Presidential Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have a 3.0 grade point average or higher for the recently completed academic year.

The student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA receive the Commissioner's Award for their exemplary efforts in the classroom, a feat achieved by 36 PC student-athletes. The Big South had an all-time high 295 student-athletes receive the Commissioner's Award. Gold Award scholars (3.75-3.99) totaled 708, and 569 earned the Silver Award (3.50-3.74) for a combined total of 1,572 student-athletes with at least a 3.50 GPA last year.

This is the sixth consecutive year that Presbyterian qualified at least 70 percent of its eligible student-athletes for the Presidential Honor Roll.
