SUMMERVILLE, S.C. - The Presbyterian Women's wrestling team beat Limestone College to win the Low Country Brawl in the women's division Saturday afternoon at Summerville High School. 

The dual began at 116 lbs. Ainsle Lane got the Blue Hose going with a 10-0 technical fall over Onnalaya Aguilera. Lane started the match fast and never looked back, tripping her opponent to her back for four points and adding multiple exposure and takedown points to finish the bout early. Freshman Catherine Bertrand extended the Blue Hose lead by pinning Taqwai Seburn.

After a forfeit at 130 lbs by the Blue Hose, Sierra Marie Miller and Morgan Norris extended Presbyterian's lead by pinning their opponents early. As the dual continued, Limestone battled back with Clara Padua Cruz (155 lbs.) and Shelsy Renous (170 lbs.) both earning pins over Lillian Humphries (155 lbs) and Isabella Badon (170 lbs.).

Aurelia Santoyo got Presbyterian back on track with a pin over Kalani Rivas at 191 lbs. After a back and forth match which saw both wrestlers rack up scores, Santoyo battled back to tie the score late in the match and earn the pin.  In the final two bouts of the dual, Sam Miller at 101 lbs and Cassy Lopez at 109 lbs. both received forfeits to make the final team score Presbyterian 40, Limestone 18.

There were three extra matches for the dual, with the Blue hose taking victories in each bout.  Sam Miller and Cassy Lopez both earned pins in their extra matches. Gabriella Shevlin also earned a come-from-behind win in the final bout of the day.
