Behind three double-figure scorers, the Presbyterian Blue Hose defeated the VMI Keydets, 72-57, in the Templeton Center on November 29.
Crosby James connected on five three-point field goals on his way to a game-high 18 points. He also dished out four assists.
Trevon Reddish-Rhone with a strong all-around game with 17 points, six rebounds, and six assists.
Marquis Barnett rounded out the Blue Hose double-digit scorers chipping in with 15 points while also grabbing seven rebounds.
BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBERS
James, who has scored in double-figures in five of Presbyterian's eight games, leads the Blue Hose in scoring averaging 10.6 points per game. Barnett averages 9.1 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game.
Winston Hill, who missed the first four games of the season after recovering from an injury, is third on the team in scoring averaging 8.8 points per game while grabbing 4.8 boards per game.
Terrell Ard, Jr. leads Presbyterian in rebounding averaging 5.6 boards per game.

BIG SOUTH FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – Presbyterian guard
Jalen Forrest was named Big South Conference Freshman of the Week this week. Forrest is the ninth player in the program's history to garner Big South Freshman of the Week honors.
OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS - This season, Presbyterian ranks 39th in the nation averaging 13.3 offensive boards per game. The Blue Hose have recorded six double-figure offensive rebounds games (Carolina University - November 7, at The Citadel - November 10, at East Carolina - November 12, at UAB, November 16, vs. Bucknell - November 21, and VMI – November 29). The Blue Hose grabbed a season-high 18 offensive boards against Carolina University.
SAME STARTING FIVE - Presbyterian has used the same starting lineup in each of its first eight games. Guards Barnett, James, Reddish-Rhone, and forwards Ard, Jr. and
Owen McCormack have been the Blue Hose's starting lineup in each game this season.
DOUBLE-FIGURE SCORERS – Eight Presbyterian players have recorded at least one double-figure scoring game this season. Reddish-Rhone, McCormack, James, Forrest, Barnett, Hill, Ard, Jr., and Jones have all tallied at least one double-figure scoring game this season.
COACH FERRELL - Quinton Ferrell is in his fourth season as the head coach of his alma mater, Presbyterian College. Ferrell, a former Blue Hose team captain and a 2007 PC graduate, is one of 52 coaches in the NCAA Division I ranks that are coaching their alma maters.
PRESBYTERIAN-WOFFORD SERIES
Thursday's game marks the 177
th meeting between Presbyterian and Wofford, who leads the all-time series 106-70. The Terriers have won the last seven games between the two teams including a 76-49 win in Clinton, South Carolina in their previous meeting on December 18, 2021. Reddish-Rhone scored 13 points (4-for-5 from the field) while grabbing six rebounds in that game.
SCOUTING WOFFORD
Wofford enters the game with wins over Bob Jones, Gardner-Webb, North Carolina A&T, and North Greenville. In the Terriers' last game, Wofford lost a tightly contested game, 78-75, at LSU this past Sunday. Wofford has three players averaging double-figure points led by freshman guard Jackson Paveletzke, who averages 16.9 points. Senior forward B.J. Mack averages 16.7 points and 6.1 rebounds. Rounding out the Terriers' double-figure scorers is sophomore guard Corey Tripp who chips in 10.6 points per game for Wofford's offensive attack. Wofford averages 79.3 points per game while limiting their opponents to 68.3 points per game. Wofford coach Jay McAuley is in his fourth season at the helm of the Terriers program.
