MILL SPRING, N.C. – The Presbyterian College women's golf team holds a five-shot lead in the Bright's Creek Intercollegiate following the opening 36 holes on Saturday. The Blue Hose were led by sophomore Sarah Boteler who recorded a 149 (+5) score on Saturday.
RESULTS
- Boteler leads the event after 36 holes after she posted an opening round 77 on Saturday morning. She followed that up with the lone even-par round or better in the second round with a 72. Boteler currently leads the event by four shots.
- Freshman Mariana Polakova posted a pair of 77's on Saturday to slide into third place in the event at +10 overall for her 36 holes of action.
- Freshman Alina Schepteva opened the day with an 83 before improving on that by one shot and carding a second round of 82. She heads into Sunday's final round in 15th place with a score of 165.
- Sofia Carles finished the day on Saturday with a pair of 83's to enter the final 18 holes on Sunday in a tie for 16th with a score of 166.
- Lextyn Petz began the tournament with an opening round of 88 before lowering it by one to an 87. She enters the final round in 30th place at a score of 175.
- Playing as an individual, freshman Taylor Reaves opened the event with an 86 before improving by five shots to an 81. She heads into the final 18 holes in a tie for 19th at a cumulative score of 167.
- Senior Kelli Kragh also competed as an individual on Saturday and began the event with a score of 96 before improving in her second round with a score of 89. She enters play in the final round in 31st place at a score of 185.

- PC closes out action in the Bright's Creek Intercollegiate on Sunday with tee times set to begin at 8am. The Blue Hose are set to go between 8:50 and 9:50 am in the final round.
