CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Joel Dragoo of the Presbyterian College Blue Hose baseball team received his third Big South Player of the Week achievement after his extraordinary performance on the diamond last week including a win over the Georgia State Panthers and beating the USC Upstate Spartans in their conference series.

During the past week, Dragoo showcased his athleticism on the field as he featured in all four games for the Blue Hose, delivering an outstanding performance and amassing an impressive stat line. Across 14 at-bats he produced eight hits and culminated a remarkable batting average of .571.

One of the standout moments of Dragoo's week came in a commanding display against Georgia State, where he delivered a flawless performance, going 4-for-4 at the plate. This impressive showing included two doubles and a resounding home run, demonstrating his versatility and power as a hitter.

Throughout the week, Dragoo maintained a staggering 1.143 slugging percentage, thanks to his four extra-base hits, which included two powerful home runs. His offensive prowess was further highlighted by a stellar .684 on-base percentage, demonstrating his ability to consistently reach base and keep the pressure on opposing teams.

In addition to his offensive contributions, Dragoo played a pivotal role in driving runs home, tallying four RBIs while also crossing the plate six times himself. His all-around performance was instrumental in the Blue Hose's success during the week, cementing his crucial role on the diamond.

Throughout this season, Dragoo has maintained an outstanding performance, boasting an impressive stat line. With 154 at-bats, he has achieved a remarkable .403 batting average, contributing significantly to the team's success with 62 hits, 42 runs, and 50 RBIs, resulting in 22 wins for the Blue Hose.

His offensive ability is shown by his 18 doubles, two triples, and 12 home runs, culminating in an impressive .779 slugging percentage. Dragoo's consistency is evident as he has reached base in all 44 of the team's games this season, accumulating 120 total bases and an impressive .503 on-base percentage.
