- Matthew Rollison also had a productive week at the plate, finishing 5-of-10 with a double and an RBI in four games.

- Christian Charalmabous has delivered on the mound to begin the year, pitching 8.1 innings in two total starts. He has struck out eight and has given up just four runs.

- Bauer Burkart leads PC out of the bullpen. He is second on the team in innings pitched (7.1) and boasts a 2.45 ERA. He has allowed only five hits and two earned runs.

- The Blue Hose are hitting .248 as a team with seven doubles and 38 RBIs. PC has totaled 99 bases to begin the year and is averaging 5.1 runs per game.

DEWBERRY DOING THINGS
Amman Dewberry has been on a tear to start the year for PC, powering the Blue Hose offense. He is hitting .438 with 14 total hits and three home runs to begin 2026. His 14 hits are the most on the team (third in the conference), and he also paces the Blue Hose in RBIs (13), OPS (1.284), and slugging percentage (.813). His 13 RBIs are tied for the most in the Big South. He has five multi-hits games this season.

ROCKIN' ROLLISON
Matthew Rollison continued his excellent start to the season last week. He now leads the conference in batting average, batting .550 (11-of-20). He is also second in the conference in on-base percentage (.654) and has scored four runs on the season.

CRUSHING HOMERS
The Blue Hose have hit several long balls to start the year, ranking second in the conference in home runs with nine. Only High Point has hit more (13). Dewberry and Emory Guilford lead the team with three home runs apiece. Caden Mason, Jonathan Williams, and Mikah Conner have also homered for the Blue Hose.

INCOMING TRANSFERS
Head coach Elton Pollock added eight transfers to this year's squad. James Green, Sammy Vander Hill, Caden Mason, Bauer Burkart, Emory Guilford, Ian Lindsay, Braiden Eagen, and Matthew Cannon are the new transfer additions for the Blue Hose.

NEW FRESHMAN
Nine freshmen join the Blue Hose this season. Domaine Vann, Bo Moody, Tucker Meredith, Jonathan Williams, Cole Morgan, Landon Nichols, Nathan Sofield, Jayden Adams, and Aidan Taylor join Coach Pollock's squad as incoming freshmen.

COACH POLLOCK
Head coach Elton Pollock enters his 22nd season at the helm of the Blue Hose. In 2025, Coach Pollock guided a young roster through one of the toughest non-conference schedules to date, earning a key win over No. 23 Alabama, halting their undefeated season.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS
- Since PC became a D1 program in 2008, Clemson leads the series 15-4. Presbyterian's last win over the Tigers came in 2019 (8-7). The Tigers took both meetings last season at Clemson.

- This will be the only matchup of the regular season between the two teams.

- Clemson is a perfect 7-0 to start the year and is ranked as high as No. 11 in the national rankings.

- The Tigers are averaging 7.4 runs per game and batting .345 at the plate. On the mound, the Tigers have excelled as well, boasting a 1.35 ERA.

- Head coach Erik Bakich is in his fourth season at the helm for Clemson.
