BURLINGTON, N.C. – The Presbyterian College women's golf team completed the first two rounds of the Elon Invitational on Monday afternoon. The Blue Hose finished the day tied for ninth place with a two-round score of 611 (+43).

Charleston Southern leads the tournament with a two-round score of 591 (+23) with North Carolina A&T and the host team Elon tied for second just one stroke behind the Buccaneers.

Sofia Carles paced the Blue Hose, shooting a 73 (+2) in the second round, to finish the day with a two-round score of 150 (+8) and landing her tied for 17
th place.

Maddie Peake's first round score of 73 (+2) was achieved by her pair of birdies and 12 pars. She finished the day tied for 24
th with a two-round score of 152 (+10).

Sarah Boteler placed tied for 50
th after a two-round score of 157 (+15).

Sloane Spessard shot for 158 (+16) in two-rounds, placing her tied for 55
th.
