CLINTON, S.C. – Entering his 21
st season at the helm of the Presbyterian College baseball program, Elton Pollock is excited to announce the addition of six talented newcomers to the 2026 roster.

"I am excited about each of our incoming recruits and the impact they will have on the Blue Hose baseball program," said Pollock. "More importantly, the character of each signee is extremely high. I look forward to the privilege of mentoring them in the years to come. Hats off to my recruiting coordinator John O'Neil for his hard work and a job well done."

Joining the Blue Hose family are Nathan Sofield, Cole Morgan, Tucker Meredith, Landon Nichols, Bo Moody, and Aidan Taylor.Â

Nathan Sofield
5'7" | Catcher | Bats R, Throws R
Tuckerton, NJ | Pinelands Regional HS

As one of the most impressive catchers to come out of Pinelands Regional High School, Sofield averaged a .385 batting average and a .489 OBP during his high school career. He will be remembered as the school's career leader for batters caught stealing. The New Jersey native was named to the All-Deviation team and was a two-time varsity MVP.

In addition to his athletic achievements, Sofield was equally impressive in the classroom. He was named student of the month twice while etching his spot on the principles list for three years.
Cole Morgan
5'9" | Catcher/Outfield | Bats R, Throws R
Vero Beach, Fla. | Vero Beach HS

As a four-year varsity player at Vero Beach High School, Morgan saw action as a catcher with occasional play in the outfield. Last season, the Florida native recorded a .397 batting average with 25 RBI's and two home runs. The team made a run to the final four in their state playoffs and won a regional championship game on their home field. He was named First Team All-Area and First Team All-Conference for his efforts. Over his last three seasons with the team, Morgan helped Vero Beach earn a 62-15 record.

In the classroom, Morgan consistently took honors/AP classes while maintaining a 3.8 GPA.

Tucker Meredith
6'0" | LHP | Bats R, Throws L
Greenwood, SC | Emerald HS
Â
As a left-handed pitcher for Emerald High School, Meredith notched some impressive career statistics. He saw action on the mound in 82.2 innings where he recorded a 1.91 ERA with 121 strikeouts.
Â
Balancing his busy life of baseball with his academics was no problem for Meredith as he was a part of the National Honors Society and Beta Club, finishing with a 4.91 GPA.

Landon Nichols

Orlando, Fla. | Metrolina Christian Academy

As a part of Metrolina Christian Academy's varsity baseball team, Nichols reached 92 MPH on his fastball with a 103 MPH exit velocity. His efforts showed when he threw a career-high of 15 strikeouts in one game.

In the classroom, the Florida native was an honor roll student who participated in multiple clubs and was a member of the National Honors Society.

Bo Moody
5'11" | Shortstop | Bats B, Throws R
Georgetown, SC | Georgetown HS

Moody was an impactful player for Georgetown High School where he led the team with his batting average in 2023 and 2024. He was named to the All-Region team in 2023 and 2024 while also earning All-State honors in 2024.

The South Carolina native is also a prime example of a student-athlete as he graduated top five in his class and has been a member of the National Honors Society for two years, he is currently the President of the club.

Aidan Taylor
5'11" | RHP/Infield | Bats B, Throws R
Belmont, NC | South Point HS
Â
Taylor received numerous awards during his time as a student-athlete at South Point High School. He was named a First Team All-Conference player twice while earning the All-State and All-Region status once. Additionally, Taylor also received the Bob Sherman Stat Man Golden Glove Award, Defensive Player of the Year Award, Pitcher of the Year Award, MVP Award, and USAA MVP at Freshman Open Award.

The North Carolina native was an honor roll student in high school while participating in various extracurricular activities. He earned a Community Service Award and Newcomer Award. Outside of athletics, Taylor was a member of the Fellow Christian Athletes.
