CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College volleyball junior Julia Yurkovich has been named to the Big South All-Academic Team in honors announced Wednesday (Nov. 19) by the Big South Conference.

The junior outside hitter had a career-year for the Blue Hose in her third season with the program. She led the team in kills (262) and points (288.5) on the season while ranking among the best in the Big South in both categories. She finished the season ranked 8th in the league in kills, averaging 2.73 per set in 96 total sets played in 2025. She also ranked 8th in points, averaging 3.01 per set.

Not just a star on the court, Yurkovich has excelled in the classroom since she arrived to Presbyterian College. She was named to the CSC Academic All-District team in 2024. She also has been named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll in both of her years at PC and earned the Big South Commissioner's Award last year for having a perfect 4.0 GPA. The Pennsylvania native has a 3.94 cumulative GPA as a Business Administration major.
