BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – A rapid turnaround is in effect for the Presbyterian College men's wrestling team after disposing of NAIA opponent Truett McConnell in the 2025 home finale, prepping for their next Southern Conference dual against Bellarmine.
Originally a home match for the Blue Hose, the Valentine's Day meeting will now take place at 3:00 PM from the facility of fellow SoCon member Gardner-Webb.
PC grabbed some much-needed momentum in Wednesday's mauling over TMU, pummeling the Bears 45-0 which officially goes down as the program's largest-ever margin of victory.
Head coach
Mark Cody's unit will square off with one of the hottest teams in the division on Friday, going up against a Bellarmine challenger who has won each of their last three contests.

SCOUTING BELLARMINE
- Off to a middling start thanks to consecutive L's against the top two teams in the conference (Campbell and Appalachian State by 19 and 4 respectively), the Knights have flipped the switch as of late thanks to a trifecta of home triumphs.
- All from Louisville, Bellarmine knocked off VMI (31-9), The Citadel (23-17), and most recently Davidson in a 42-3 spanking. Their only setback in the Wildcat dual came in the second bout, meaning the Knights reeled off eight wins in a row for their largest advantage of the year by far.
- Led by fourth-year head coach Ned Shuck, Bellarmine has yet to taste defeat against the Blue Hose in four attempts, downing PC in 2022 and 2023 by a combined three points.
LAST TIME OUT
- It was utter domination by Presbyterian as they improved to 5-0 all-time against Truett McConnell, logging six technical falls in the shutout while surpassing the 40-point mark for the second time this year.
- Coach Cody's gang muscled their way to their largest lead of the season, holding the opponent to zero on the scoreboard for the first time since December of 2022 (coincidentally also versus TMU).
- Nine of the ten bouts had PC winning by at least eight points, as the Blue Hose have now extended their vice grip on the Bears to an all-time differential of 198-13.
